Useful resources for film-making, photography and screenwriting

I thought it might be useful to have a page with a list of resources that I have found useful, including websites, YouTube videos, online tools and books that I have found useful or that have been recommended to me .

For great tips for creative ideas as well as lots of advice on budget filmmaking and technical issues. I like that the focus is on using these tools and techniques to enhance your creativity and storytelling rather than just doing it to "look cool" and they also have Youtube channel with heaps of content updated regularly -

Jordi's style may grate on the nerves for some, but his tutorials are well structured and to the point.

For insights into the art and science of editing, I highly recommend This Guy Edits. This channel focuses on the theory of editing and looks at lots of cases studies, but it quite practical too -
