For the handful of people who have followed my photography blog or looked a bit at my photos on her, you'll probably have noticed a certain penchant I have for city lights or city scenes at night.
But, as I've mentioned before, the weather conditions need to be right to get the best photos and in Hobart in spring, well, this can be hard. One moment high winds, the next rain, and even snow and hail are not out of the question at times ! But by some miracle there have been a couple of mild, windless nights of late which prompted to have a bit of a wander around the docks to see if I could capture Hobart as a sexy glamorous city of the night ;-). Here's just a bit of a sample for that and you can judge for yourself whether I pulled that off...
Of course, if there is a bit of mist at night, even better, as apart from creating a nice effect, it may also soften some of those bright street lights.
